Lindsay & Russell

August 30, 2012

Lindsay & Russell are like peas and carrots – they just go together. We met for breakfast for our initial meeting and had a very easygoing and relaxed conversation. I was thrilled with their wedding day plans and was so excited to be a part of their celebration. We photographed their engagement portraits in the Bishop Arts District in Dallas and at White Rock Lake. I loved how playful they were together and how much they just enjoyed being in each other’s company. We photographed Lindsay’s bridal portraits on Main Street in Downtown Dallas and I just loved her session! She is a stunning woman and it was a joy to photograph more of an urban bridal session for her. Their wedding was set in one of the most gorgeous places I’ve see in Dallas – it was at the Trinity Audubon Center. I loved the beautiful landscape of the ceremony and I could have photographed them all day with the beautiful light pouring over the trees after they said their vows. I loved how they chose to exchange letters on their wedding day and that Russell teared up when he read her letter. I loved how Lindsay beamed as her dad walked her down the long and windy aisle in the fields. And Lindsay surprised Russell with a firetruck for their exit. It was just a beautiful and fun wedding and I’m thankful to have been a part of their celebration.
