This week, a respected and talented International photographer organization founded by Huy Nguyen called Fearless Photographers, awarded two other recipients and me with the 2016 Fearlessly Inspirational Photographers Award. This Award is given to photographers who are making a difference in their communities through service, giving, or the development of philanthropic organizations. It was a huge and encouraging surprise! One of my peers nominated me for my work with ThirstRelief International & The Society for Sport, Peace & Society. Fearless Photographers reviewed the nominations and my work, I was chosen as one of the three for this years’ awards. It is truly an honor to be recognized for my volunteer involvement with ThirstRelief. I am hopeful to continue supporting ThirstRelief and look forward to any other non-profit or humanitarian photography work God brings my way in the future. But I’m just beyond excited and wanted to share the links with you all!
