Kat & Marco are getting married at the end of this year. They met through mutual friends back in college and recently reconnected after nearly 16 years. Their meeting ignited a friendship where sparks flew and here they are today. They have a beautiful relationship. I loved watching their subtle connection, their playfulness, their quiet peacefulness together and their joy. We photographed their engagement portraits in the Laguna, California area, where their first date took place and where their long distance relationship rekindled. We explored the Thousand Steps Beach and the Crystal Cove State Park and Beach. I’m freakin’ in love with these portraits and had so much fun talking with Kat & Marco and learning about them and sharing a bit of my journey in what brought me to California. We talked non-stop and enjoyed dinner in Laguna before we returned to San Diego. So grateful for the opportunity to know these two and to be a witness to their love and connection and this part of their stories.
