Meet Kaci and Cody! I have throughly enjoyed visiting with Kaci — our first meeting together was about 2 hours long, but the time flew by as we talked about their wedding, engagement session ideas and traveling. She is a sweet, sweet girl and I’m so excited for her and Cody! They’re my first 2011 couple so far. 🙂 Kaci left the entire session in my hands, which is awesome but intimating—my mind was running with ideas. But knowing that they both enjoy the outdoors and that I love wild fields, I had recently discovered a beautiful area in Las Colinas that was calling to me. So I knew I wanted to take them there and the rest was just stuff in the area. 🙂 The more a photograph couples, the more I know that the location is just a bonus – my portraits are really about the beauty of their love and connection. I hope you can see their love for each other through these engagement portraits.
