Kara & Jared were married Sunday, September 5 at the Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas. They had an amazing outdoor ceremony on the country club property followed by a sweet desert reception. There are so many reasons why I loved Kara & Jared’s wedding (and you’ll see that be viewing the most photos I’ve ever blogged for a wedding). The couple chose to do a first sight and because of that, we were able to capture so many amazing couple portraits all around the property with the best light! Then we were able to capture all of the family portraits before the ceremony and that allowed the wedding day to go so smoothly. I loved their ceremony because they used a mix of romantic poetry readings and scripture along with a sweet song of worship. The outdoor ceremony setting felt very intimate under the large trees. They had a sweet little reception and served a desert buffet for their guests – this included a chocolate fountain buffet, cookies, fruits and more. I loved the recipe cookbook favors Kara & and her family made for their guests. Lastly, Kara’s going away dress was made from her grandmother’s wedding dress. Kara worked in her vintage flair throughout the wedding details and I loved her going away dress. I hope you enjoy these wedding photographs!
