So this was my very first “Day After” Session. The idea behind this type of session is that a bride and groom can take time to make some beautiful portraits together at unique locations in their wedding attire because not every wedding day schedule has time for the bride and groom to do lots of fabulous portraits together. You don’t literally have to do this this session the day after your wedding. Some people do them after they get back from their honeymoon or even a month or so after their wedding day. Marchele and Andrew decided to do this session because they weren’t leaving for their honeymoon until a day after their wedding so they wanted to spend as much time with their guests at their wedding, but Marchele really wanted some fabulous photos of them together. So they were super brave and woke up early the morning after their wedding and we had some fun! Andreww showed up with his McDonald’s breakfast in hand in his tux and I just totally loved that he was willing to do whatever his wife wanted to do. 🙂I just love the emotion and movement in this photo!I love the comfiness in this photo… (is comfiness a word?)…And now for something totally different. We went downtown to the top of a parking garage for something more urban. I really just wanted them to have some options when it came to the feeling of their photos. This series along this grate had some of my favorite photos from the day. But I really just love the lines in this leading you up to that fabulous romantic feeling that they’re sharing.Thank you guys so much for trying something new! You are an amazing couple and I wish you all the best in your first fabulous year of marriage!
