Kim & Tim were married Aug. 7, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church of McKinney and held their intimate wedding reception at Rick’s Chophouse inside the Grand Hotel in Downtown McKinney. It was a sweet and intimate wedding for their family and closest friends. It was a wedding that brought their new family all together. Here are the reasons why I loved Kim & Tim’s wedding: 1) It was the official start of their family. Tim gave Kim’s children rings at the wedding to mark this special occasion and it was so sweet to have the whole family involved in the wedding ceremony. 2) It was a time to celebrate with their closest family of friends – there were about 50-60 people in attendance, and it was perfect. 3) Everything was so relaxed and wonderful – Kim got ready at the house with her kids and it was fun seeing them still play and have fun on the wedding day. 4) Kim’s Maggie Sottero wedding dress was stunning. I loved the fit and the bling – awesome dress! 5) The reception was simple and sweet – they visited with family and friends, did a couple of toasts and cut the cake. And that was it – it was just a great evening.
