I love how kids light up when it comes to wedding cake. Rand’s mom and sister brought his niece to him so he could present her with her piece of wedding cake. Almost every wedding I photograph has a similar moment: the kids standing at the edge of the cake table talking about how big they want their piece to be or a little child who is brought a special piece of cake from the bride or groom. I love how my brides and grooms do sweet little things for their guests to make the evening fun and sweet for them too. I love capturing the expressions on their faces after given such a little gift like wedding cake. 🙂
