Hello dear clients! I know that there are so many people getting engaged over the holiday season, so I thought I would make a list of some of my favorite ceremony and reception venues.
Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano, Texas
I love photographing weddings at the chapel at Prestonwood Baptist Church! The chapel has wonderful natural light and the white accents are just so lovely and wonderful in photographs. The architecture is just stunning. Prestonwood also has a wonderful bridal suite, a lovely room for family and bridal party to gather before and after the wedding and they have beautiful grounds for portraits.
Watermark Community Church – Dallas, Texas
I photographed my first wedding at Watermark Community Church this summer. The church is just stunning and it has a natural, colorado-feeling to it. They also planned ahead with great bride and groom suites along with amazing grounds for bride and groom portraits. The chapel also has nice natural light. I love all of the stonework and wood beams throughout the church.
Delaney Vineyards – Grapevine, Texas
I have photographed a couple of weddings at Delaney Vineyards and everytime I just love the grounds. Delaney Vineyards is one of the loveliest venues for bride and groom portraits with their vineyards and their large wooden doors. It is also a great venue if you’re looking to have have your ceremony and reception at the same place. They are able to flip the ceremony room very quickly and make everything look beautiful.
The Marty Leonard Chapel – Fort Worth, Texas
The Marty Leonard Chapel is one of the most beautiful chapels in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The unique architecture and wonderful windows make this ceremony venue amazing!
The Melrose Warwick – Dallas, Texas
I have photographed two weddings at the Melrose Warwick Hotel and I just love it! The ballrooms are some of the prettiest in the metroplex. The food and service at the Melrose are also outstanding. If you are looking for an elegant reception venue, then I totally recommend having your reception at the Melrose Warwick Hotel.
The Mansion on Turtle Creek – Dallas, Texas
I have only photographed bridal portraits at the Mansion on Turtle Creek, but I would imagine that it would be a wonderful venue for your wedding reception. There are so many unique rooms for your celebration and the customer service there is outstanding.
The Old Red Courthouse – Dallas, Texas
I have photographed two weddings at the Old Red Courthouse as a second-shooter and I have photographed one bridal portrait session there. It is such a beautiful building for a wedding ceremony or wedding reception. They also have a great parking lot just below that make the downtown parking a non-issue. I love all of the colorful walls, the beautiful staircases and the lobby at the Old Red Courthouse.
Stonebridge Country Club – McKinney, Texas
I have been blessed to photograph three weddings at the Stonebridge Country Club. I love the unique reception space and the grounds at the club. They also have an amazing space for an outdoor ceremony. The staff at the Stonebridge Country Club is very kind and helpful and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience working with everyone there. It is a wonderful location for weddings in the North Dallas area.
Bass Hall – Fort Worth, Texas
Bass Hall has so many wonderful wedding ceremony and reception venue spaces. I loved photographing there because the venue space is beautiful and it’s located in downtown Fort Worth which gives a wedding photographer so many options for beautiful bride and groom and bridal party portraits.
The Fort Worth Botanical Gardens – The Japanese Gardens – Fort Worth, Texas
The Japanese Gardens are so beautiful for your outdoor wedding ceremony or reception. I have photographed two wedding ceremonies and receptions there and the area is just lovely for a unique outdoor wedding reception.
The McKinney Cotton Mill – McKinney, Texas
The McKinney Cotton Mill is a large reception space in a very rustic-feeling building. The new hardwood floors and the unfinished brick make for a unique wedding reception venue. I love photographing bridal portraits and engagement portraits at the McKinney Cotton Mill and I think it’s a wonderful place for a couple wanting a different kind of reception venue.
The Marriott at The Shops at Legacy – Plano, Texas
I had my wedding reception at the Marriott at the Shops at Legacy. They have beautiful ballrooms for different size wedding guest lists. The area around the Shops at Legacy is lovely for portraits and it’s a great area for a wedding if you have a lot of out of town guests. 
The Filter Building at White Rock Lake – Dallas, Texas
The Filter Building on White Rock Lake has it all: an industrial feel right in the heart of nature on White Rock Lake. So you can have a lovely outdoor ceremony with a view of the lake, a great patio for a cocktail hour and a simple space for your reception. I love photographing weddings, bride and groom portraits and engagement portraits at the Filter Building. 
Highland Park United Methodist Church – Highland Park, Texas
When I think of the most beautiful churches in Dallas, I think of Highland Park United Methodist Church. The church architecture is stunning. The grounds have ample space for a variety of portraits. It is one of my favorites for its classic and elegant architecture.
Perkins Chapel – Highland Park, Texas
Perkins Chapel on the campus of SMU is a lovely southern wedding chapel. It has beautiful white shutters, tall windows and beautiful grounds to photograph portraits.
