Stephanie & Luis were married Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at Prestonwood Baptist Church, followed by a wedding reception at the Northwood Country Club in Dallas. Luis is on staff at Prestonwood and that’s where the two met. Stephanie and her family have been members of Prestonwood for many years. Their wedding was so personal and so beautiful. I loved their wedding because: 1) They’re just genuinely amazing people. I know that their marriage will be a blessing to so many others. 2) They were one of the few couples that exchanged bride and groom gifts on the wedding day. I just love that tradition and I think it’s so sweet to see what they give each other on their wedding day. 3) They were so wiling to do anything I had in mind for their couple portraits and that’s how we were able to get the final photo at the bottom. The Prestonwood Campus is very large and so there are so many awesome photo opportunities. 4) With their wedding being so close to Christmas, I loved how they incorporated Christmas themes into their decorations, their ceremony and their favors. 5) You’ll see it in Part 2 at their reception, but their reception was an awesome celebration and party. It was so much fun and their family and friends really love to celebrate and dance.
