Thursday afternoon I photographed an intimate wedding at the Old Red Courthouse that consisted of the minister, the bride and groom, and a good friend. I loved that they exchanged letters on their wedding day. Tess was so excited to receive Mark’s letter and I love all of the sweet and thoughtful details Mark included on the outside of the envelope. Exchanging letters is one of my favorite wedding day traditions but so few couples add this tradition to their wedding day. I love letters because they allow you to say something sweet and lovingly in a permanent and eloquent way.
