Earlier this year I bid on a mentor session with Kevin Jairaj through the Thirst Relief Auction and I won! Kevin is a wonderful photographer and a really nice guy. I was looking forward to learning from him and doing a portrait session together. It’s always so fun and interesting to shoot alongside other photographers to see how they approach the same scene and how they interact with their clients. We met for coffee first and he was kind enough to let me ask him any questions and talk about the business side of things. He offered some great tips on my pricing guide and I shared some images for his critique. Then we went to the Las Collinas Canals and a beautiful bluebonnet field for a portrait session.
