Jerry & Kay have been married for 42 years. Jerry loves restoring old cars and Kay loves riding down the highway right by Jerry’s side. They fell in love quickly and naturally. I loved hearing Kay’s story about how Jerry proposed: “We were lying on a blanket at Funks Grove, a beautiful wooded nature preserve, enjoying the warm summer breeze, away from family or any cares at all, when he began talking about how, when two people love each other, they should get married! I agreed with that! And that was our proposal! Jerry always apologizes to me that it wasn’t more eloquent. But it was very special to me.” He saved up for a ring over the next couple of months and then it was official to the world.
