Dez & Joey got married in Dallas at Ashton Gardens last week. They live in Oahu and we had plans to do their engagement portraits in Hawaii when I was there this spring but the timing didn’t work out. So we photographed their engagement portraits the day before their wedding day. I’m really so glad that we did. I love engagement portraits and just love the sweet and candid interaction between my couples. I do help with posing and giving direction but I can’t fake the genuine smiles, the little giggles and the little things that make these portraits special.
