Mykonos was our last stop of our 13-day island-hopping dream vacation through Greece. We arrived from Naxos in the early afternoon. Our host at Eleni Studios in Mykonos Town coordinated to pick us up at the ferry and drive us to our accommodations in the middle the winding alleys of Mykonos Town. We set off to walk the winding alleyways for a little while and within minutes stumbled upon historic churches, Little Venice and the Windmills of Mykonos. We went back to get dolled-up for portraits through the alleyways and then a fabulous dinner at Pasta Barkia! Words can’t do justice to how much we enjoyed the meal and experience at this restaurant. In the morning, we took a kayak tour with Mykonos Kayak tours. We kayaked, snorkled, swam, had a beach picnic and talked with people from all over the world and enjoyed the hospitality of the family-run tour. After a full day in the sun, we took a nap, and then went out to celebrate my birthday. I just wanted to wander and take pictures of the beautiful patios, home-fronts, ocean views, and bays. Mykonos is the best island for fine dining, for beach parties, late night dancing and for shopping. These are some of my favorite travel and landscape photographs of Mykonos.
