Collaboration over competition… who else just loves this business approach? At my first networking event in San Diego, I was introduced to Suher Haidar of Francine Ribeau Events. She began creating opportunities for connection and educational workshops for vendors and peers in the San Diego wedding industry. This past month, she hosted a photography themed workshop she called Snap Snap Refined. She invited several photographers to do portraits for professionals in the industry, invited speakers to talk about wardrobe styling and inner peace and beauty. I was invited to photograph the styled shoot portion of her workshop. It was wonderful to work alongside so many talented and creative San Diego wedding industry vendors and to showcase their style and creativity. I also photographed headshots and team shots for some of the vendors like Snake Oil Cocktail Company.
