Jennifer & John met at Prestonwood Baptist Church in the Singles Ministry. With common beliefs and values and complimentary personalities, the two hit it off quickly. They loved having date nights in Addison Circle and going out for picnics. John eventually proposed to Jennifer beneath the Century Tree at Texas A&M University.
Jennifer & John were married in June in a little town outside of Longview called Hallsville, Texas. This East Texas wedding had so much Southern charm. We photographed Jennifer and John and their wedding bridal party on John’s family estate. I loved his family’s property with all of the beautiful trees and their beautiful southern home.
Jennifer & John chose to do a first look and it was just perfect. John was so excited to see his elegantly styled bride and Jennifer was just beaming.
The couple was married at FBC Hallsville just outside of Longview, Texas. They had a very sweet wedding ceremony at the church where John grew up attending. My favorite moments on a wedding day are just after the ceremony between the bride and groom. Jennifer & John were so funny they hugged and kissed and said something along the lines of “wow – so this is what it feels like to be married!”
Their wedding ceremony was followed by a beautiful wedding reception at the Pinecrest Country Club in Longview. They had amazing wedding reception lighting and decor. I loved all of the purple uplighting, the large white paper lanterns hung with purple ribbon and their beautiful monogram lighting gobo for their wedding reception. It was a beautiful reception. They had a little bit of everything with a flip book photo booth and a great party on the dance floor. One special touch was the grooms cake that John designed. He is an architect and his grooms cake depicted that in a very cool way. They left their wedding reception with their guests showering them with handfuls of lavender as they made their grand exit.
